Polish vets attended the "International Congress StopMastits.pl" where Andrew Bradley presented his studies on STARTVAC® efficacy under field conditions
Thanks to HIPRA’s sponsorship, in cooperation with Polish Mastitis Association, experienced veterinarians from Poland met on February 26th-27th during International StopMastitis.pl Congress.
During two days, an intense course on mastitis control and prevention took place there, where Andrew Bradley (UK) and Oriol Franquesa (Spain) shared their wealth of knowledge with them. Bradley’s session was divided into two parts. During the first session titled: “Mastitis management on dairy farms with environmental bacteria” he presented the results of his latest studies on STARTVAC® efficacy under field conditions. The second session was focused on interpretation of milk samples culturing results.
Moreover, during the Congress subjects such as the importance of prevention, good management and responsible antibiotics usage were raised, leading to very interesting discussions. One of the speakers was Oriol Franquesa Oller from Qllet S.L.P. His presentation was divided into two parts. First speech was titled: “Udder infections with Streptococcus spp.” And the second: “Milking time – hygiene and management”. Both of them were of great value to Polish vets. During the congress Hipra Poland represented by TMM Ruminants - Malwina Jazdz-Maszkowska has presented 2.6 campaign in front of the Polish cattle vets - the aim, possibilities and expectations for 2016 and next years.
