Dr. Paolo Moroni visits turkey with HIPRA
Last month of February Dr Paolo Moroni from the Quality Milk Production Service of Cornell University (US) was visiting Turkey in an action addressed to big farms with more than 1,000 milking cows willing to improve milk quality and currently using STARTVAC® as part of their mastitis control plan.
Dr Paolo Moroni with an abroad experience as advisor and extensive research work in the field of mastitis, is co-author of one study published in the Journal of Dairy Science about the efficacy of STARTVAC®.
During the visits he was supporting the farms with an extensive review of the milking routines, milking machine, bedding management and mastitis vaccination protocols. As part of his visit he was training the managers of the farms in the most important items in mastitis prevention, reinforcing the idea of one plus one is three, that means that when we have together good management and excellent mastitis vaccines like STARTVAC® we obtain the best results.
